Three very different and very interesting films. The first has a very independent/trashy feel about it. The second is more assured, almost mythical in it's tone while the third is a bit touchy/feely. All are great to watch. I'll never forget seeing the first two in a double feature on a huge cinemascope screen, mind-blowing. In the driving sequences the cars are the focus, but the cinematography also highlights the landscape; open and barren. All my car trips after that have been in cinemascope.
