Welcome to Daza and Enid's home on the internet where we celebrate the best of the twentieth century.

You'll find an exciting array of last century cultural detritus in each room of our house. Sounds in the lounge, toiletries in the bathroom and tastes in the kitchen.

Come on in.

Triumph Herald

The Triumph Herald was a small two-door car introduced in 1959 by the Standard-Triumph Company of Coventry. Body design was by the Italian stylist Giovanni Michelotti, and the car was offered in saloon, convertible, coupe, van and estate variants.

While its handling has been described as "tank like", as an affordable, sporty soft top it holds a soft spot in many peoples' hearts. Its appearance as the car of choice for ladies of a certain age in the TV series Last of the Summer Wine only adds to its cult status.

PS

Enid had a Triumph Herald soft top. It was red like the one in Last of the Summer Wine.
