Welcome to Daza and Enid's home on the internet where we celebrate the best of the twentieth century.

You'll find an exciting array of last century cultural detritus in each room of our house. Sounds in the lounge, toiletries in the bathroom and tastes in the kitchen.

Come on in.

    Hi Steve

Basil Brush material holds a strong sentimental value so this isn't for sale, but if I do have a clear out of my collection I'll list it here and let you know. Any chance you could send us a scan of the one you have?

Hi.  I've tried searching your website to contact you but have had no luck.  By chance is there any way you'd consider selling this item?  I have one of these already (full body shot of Basil) but would love another to add to my NZ card/packet collection.  If I purchased it, you'd be more than welcome to continue to use the image.  Regards, Steve

As a wee nipper I loved Cookie Bear so much that my father arranged for him to come to my birthday party. I can't remember how old I was but I must have been young, as I believed that Cookie Bear had a sore throat and couldn't talk that day. Somedays I suspect that my Dad may have been in that suit.

I have an amazing photo of me waving Cookie Bear goodbye as he was driven home by my grandad in his Holden Kingswood.

    Hi Alec

Sounds like one of my jokes. Good to hear from you, and hope you enjoy the DVD!

    Hi,

I think you are the guy that I exchanged e-mails with many years ago re Turtles Progress.  From memory you also had a gag going along the lines of What do you call a Frenchman in sandals?  Feeleep Felop.  Anyway I thought I would check the internet today (as I do about twice a year) to see if there was any progress on a Turtles Progress DVD - and I struck gold - the old credit card details were whacked in and I am now going to sit by the front door till the damn thing arrives.

    Cheers

    Alec

    Purely a TV show.

Was this made as a film for general release? Or was it purely for TV?

    Does Anna vote Tory?

There's no need for you to be nasty!  What do you gain by it?  Does it make you a better person to publicly slag people's hard work?

I was only employed by Anna for a short time in 2008 and helped her with her Facebook page for Daisy Dooley Does Divorce.  However, I got to know her through our many emails and she has become a dear friend who is so much more kind, thoughtful and spiritually evolved than most of the people who write comments about her online could ever know.  So we have to take all those sarcastic, spiteful comments with a huge grain of salt.

You don't know Anna but if you did, you'd know that she only writes books from her heart (her work for the Daily Mail pays the bills), which is genuine and the size of the Taj Mahal.

Oh I don't know. Did Tron have ASCII? ASCII is so last century.
